Estoc has my favourite strong attack in the game, is reasonably powerful, quite quick, is quite long, and has all the utility that the thrusting swords have. Balder side sword is probably slightly better, but I think the estoc is more fun and the blocking attack can really help in a bind. To me they're about even. Estoc is the best one in the game because: 1) It has highest damage per-hit of all rapier. 2) It has the highest reach eleminating the problems that i have with any other rapier. 3) It has standart / slash damage horizontal AOE R2 attacks unlike any other rapier, making it the ultimate rapier to rule them all. A plain will probably do as much (might be close) and not require 20 in every stat. For reference a fire infused/buffed estoc will have over 260 fire AR and maybe 175-200 phys AR.
